This original artwork was created in the French countryside while living at a château in Orquevaux, France, where days gently unfolded into long communal evenings. Life moved between studio hours and shared tables, where bottles of wine were passed among new friends before, during, and after dinner, each conversation unfolding a little further with every pour.

Evenings often continued beyond the table, drifting into the parlor or down into the art studios, where laughter, games, and lingering stories filled the space long after the meal had ended. There was a rhythm to it all, a slow blending of making art and making memories, where time felt soft and unhurried.

Wine became a quiet thread through everything, present in every gathering and every transition, a fluid companion that connected moments and people alike. This piece carries that atmosphere, capturing the warmth of shared experience, the intimacy of new friendships, and the easy magic of nights that seem to stretch without end.
