“Poppin Bottles” is an original artwork created in the French countryside while living at a château in Orquevaux, France. It continues the story of communal life, where bottles of wine and champagne marked both the beginning and the end of unforgettable days shared with new friends around round tables, deep in conversation.

At the château, life unfolded through a rhythm of welcome parties, shared dinners, and closing celebrations that honored new connections and new adventures. Champagne was often opened in moments of arrival and farewell, filling the air with a sense of excitement, gratitude, and possibility as friendships formed quickly and meaningfully.

Evenings extended beyond the table into the parlor and art studios, where games, laughter, and lingering conversations carried late into the night. This piece captures that spirit of celebration and connection, where every gathering felt like both an ending and a beginning, and where shared experiences became lasting memories.
