Citron - ii
5.5 x 8.25 Painting | Acrylic, water soluble pastels on paper
Collection | ‘Dinner Party: Community Tables and Little Treats’
This original painting of warm citrus was created in the French countryside, where light, color, and atmosphere shaped every brushstroke. Built from layers of pinks, oranges, and sunlit textures, the work captures the feeling of fruit glowing from within, as if light is passing through its skin and revealing something alive beneath the surface.
The transparencies within the fruit are playful and slightly unexpected, shifting between softness and brightness in a way that invites curiosity. Each form feels momentary and fresh, like a fleeting glimpse of something you want to look at just a little longer.
Designed to bring warmth into a space, this piece feels like a memory of long afternoons and easy conversations, where time stretches out over bright flavors and open air. It carries the feeling of spring and summer days, filling a corner of your home with color, light, and quiet joy.
(All works will ship late May/early June)

Dining with new conversations, new people, and in various atmospheres fuels growth , heals community, and pushes creativity. This new body of artwork captures items or “treats'“ found on dinner tables, coffee tables, and side tables after ideas have collided and new energies emerge. The “little treats” found in each painting are supporting playmates representing open hearts and curious minds that have been around the table. Treats can be food, drinks, luminating characters, and more. ‘Treats’ are items that are apart of a memory: visually, a taste, a feeling..and they come in all shapes and sizes.
