One of the most well-known, colorful blocks in Charleston sits pretty off East Bay Street downtown. Rainbow Row is painted with various pastel colors and officially stretches from #83 to #107. 🌈 A few theories of why this area was painted in different colors: some say to capture the attention of drunk sailors 🍺 to help find their way home….or possibly in an attempt to stay cool in the hot summer months ☀️. One thing is for sure, we’re happy this colorful palette was born and we get to stroll past these charming historic homes.
