Ataraxia: a state of tranquility, peace, and freedom from worry or anxiety.
Platys Gialos, Mykonos, Greece warmly welcomed me with aqua waters, fresh octopus and a dash of Mama Mia dance parties with new friends! Mykonos made me fee so calm and relaxed so the word ataraxia suits her perfectly!
‘Travel Mixed Media: Greece, Mexico, Portugal’ collection captures historic cities filled with colorful architecture, waterways, and skylines that fueled my curiosity while adventuring around! I hope this work brings your home a pop of energy and an extra sense of curiosity!
I've married photographs with playful brush strokes, sketch marks, and new hand-sewn thread inspired by pieces of my own history - my grandmother, Mama B :) Bringing in these new creative mediums and styles felt equally scary and freeing - similar to how traveling often is!
