Christmas Memories

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas πŸ˜‡πŸŽ„. It may be a bit early but y’all know how much I love the build of holiday season. A lit Christmas tree really is the best energy and simply makes me feel cozy!

Today is my dads heavenly birthday and I miss him like crazy. Holiday season hits differently every year and I’m grateful for all the memories. To me a Christmas tree is one of the biggest memory banks for me. It’s hard to remember things as kids, but my parents always gave us an amazing Christmas season. My mom’s decorations were and still are show stoppers - learned how to tie my first bow with wired ribbon earrrrly in life, my dad would put up fat Charlie Brown lights outside, and Christmas morning finding the half eaten cookies made me a believer til I was probably 12 yrs old - seriously.

This is my 8th year making ornaments. And every year I think about where they will end up and what memories they get to be apart of. I love these little pops of cheer and am so grateful I get to share them with you and your fam!

Little hanging memories that dazzle for the holidays!

So my tree is up on November 12th and I’m about to make a pot of gumbo to prepare for friends coming over for the MSU vs Georgia game - a Stan Black hosting kind of day! And of course I had to pour a screwdriver for good measure - HBD Daddy and cheers to all the past and future memories this holiday season! #godawgs
